One City Schools Foundation (OCSF) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization established in 2021, and recognized by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as a “supporting organization” of One City Schools, Inc. OCSF is overseen by a separate seven-member Board of Directors, of which three directors are also voting members of the One City Schools Inc. Board of Directors. It serves as the fundraising vehicle for One City Schools Inc, securing, retaining, and distributing philanthropic dollars to the organization and its schools, in support of the organization’s mission and work. Additionally, the Foundation serves as a “Leverage Lender” for the New Market Tax Credits (NMTCs) that One City Schools has received for the facilities and property it owns.
